Skin-Cheffing is Odacité’s very own way of describing the act of mixing up your own custom recipe for your unique skin by using ingredients from your pantry and refrigerator. As you may or may not know, Odacité founder, Valérie, started out by blending custom-made skincare for her private clients individual skincare concerns. Customization always has and always will be apart Odacité’s foundation (philosophy).

Skincare concern : Dull, lackluster skin 

Key Ingredient : Papaya as a skin ingredient contains enzymes that chemically slough off dead skin cells and bring a glow back to the skin. The seeds however contain a more concentrated amount of the papain enzyme, making it one of the best skin brightening ingredients.

Synergie[4] + Papaya Seeds + Fresh Papaya Juice


Grind up seeds in a mortar and pestle until it is a paste texture. This adds a physical exfoliating factor. Mix all ingredients together and apply to cleansed toned skin with a mask brush. Leave on for about 15 minutes then rinse and pat dry to get a smoother and brighter complexion!

Skincare concern : Devitalized, aging, un-even textured skin

Key Ingredient : Black Rice, also known as Forbidden Rice, is deep purple in color; it almost looks black! Black Rice has highest source of anthocyanin a powerful antioxidant which is derived from its outer bran hull. Anthocyanin antioxidant not only prevents the skin from free radical damage, it also has been linked with preventing cardiovascular disease, protecting against cancer that may be brought on by free radical damage, enhancing brain function, decreasing inflammation and much more. Rice in general is also rich in group of Vitamin B called "inositol" that helps to stimulate blood flow, slows down the aging process and promotes cell growth! Rice water is also very moisturizing and has some UV absorbing properties. 

Results : Bright, Tight, and Soft Skin

Synergie[4] + Black Rice Water


Cook the black rice, drain out the water and then mix in with Synergie[4] masque to create a paste. Apply to cleansed toned skin, let dry for up to 20 minutes then rinse to reveal brighter, tighter, moisturized balanced skin.

Skincare concern : Dry and dull skin

Key Ingredient : Manuka Honey is best known for its natural antibacterial properties as well as its ability to soothe inflamed skin while healing blemishes and drawing in moisture. It also helps balance skin’s pH and contains amino acids that slough away dead skin cells. In other words, this ingredients is your problem skin’s best friend.

Results : Hydrated, Soft and Glowing Complexion

Full Recipe : 


Synergie[4] + Dollop of Manuka Honey + 4 drops of Ac+R Serum Concentrate (plus a drop for skin) + Sprinkle of Probiotic Powder + Water


First apply a drop of Ac+R all over cleansed and toned skin. Next mix all ingredients together, apply to face, then rinse after 15 minutes to reveal rejuvenated skin.

Skincare concern : Oily Skin with Clogged Pores

Key Ingredient : Bananas are rich in powerful antioxidants, phytochemicals and moisture. Its nutrients zinc and lectin play a huge role in fighting acne causing germs and bacteria. It is also a great exfoliator the helps slough off excess sebum on skin’s surface. Potassium and vitamins E & C all promote clear glowing skin.

Results : Balanced Decongested Skin

Synergie[4] + ⅓ Mashed Banana + 5 drops of Lemon Juice + 3 Drops of Jo+L Serum Concentrate


Mash the banana then mix in the rest of the ingredients until smooth paste forms. Apply to clean toned skin and let sit on your face for up to 20 minutes. Enjoy the rest of your banana with some hot water with lemon then rinse to reveal beautiful balanced skin.
