Natural Beauty Hacks You Need To Try

From an all natural hair volumizer to a versatile masque that can do it all with ingredients from your kitchen, we are sharing our beauty hacks to get glowing with one exception - no harsh chemicals involved! Skip the parabens and other synthetics with these all-natural beauty hacks.

The Natural Year Round Moisturizer

Have a favorite face moisturizer or cream that you just can’t live without - until the weather gets dry or it is that time of the month? Add 1-2 drops of a targeted facial oil or Serum Concentrate to boost your face moisturizer so you can use it all year round.

The Natural Soothing Bath Soak

The simple skin-nourishing technique to relieve irritated, dry or itchy skin is to blend 2 handfuls of oats with a tablespoon of powdered milk of choice, sprinkle in warm bath, and soak. That’s all! Oats contain anti-irritation ingredients that are suitable for treating even the most sensitive skin types.

The Natural Multi-Mask

Most powdered masques activated with water can be tailored to be ultra-hydrating, rejuvenating, soothing or detoxing. Try adding Manuka honey to your masque powder for a maximum hydration and healing effect or wheat grass juice for a detox effect. Tip: Don’t leave the masque on until it is completely dry as that is the phase when moisture from the surface of your skin is being drawn out causing irritation and itchiness.

The Natural Highlighter

Get a shimmery highlight by mixing a loose powdered eye shadow (pearl or champagne color) into your moisturizer and blending it into the places on your face that deserve the most light. Want an all over glow? Apply all over face and and set with your favorite face mist.

The Natural Hair Volumizer

If you are a victim of unbalanced, dull or flat hair, all you need give it its life back is organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar and water. Apple cider vinegar is naturally high in acetic acid and has a pH level that is close to that of human hair. It will help bring your hair and scalp back to its ideal acidity without weighing down individual strands.

The Natural Lip Plumper

Full plump lips are often a signifier of youth and with the significant rise of lip filler injections, this natural beauty hack will not only save you a lot of money, but it also will help you avoid long term side effects. Nature’s answer to a power pout is simple- peppermint oil temporarily pumps up the volume in your lips by enhancing blood flow. All you have to do is mix a few drops with a dollop of your balm of choice and apply. For an added plump, add a drop of cinnamon oil or cayenne pepper oil. Be careful not to use too much as it will cause a sting.

The Natural Teeth Whitener

With a bit of patience, you can naturally restore your teeth’s whiteness with just one ingredient - coconut oil. You may have heard the term “oil pulling” before which is a unique remedy that helps whiten teeth. Coconut oil contains lauric acid so it can rid your teeth of bacteria found in plaque that can cause your teeth to turn yellow. Not only will you get a brighter smile but it will also be cleaner and fresh. All you have to do in the mornings before you brush your teeth is put a tablespoon of coconut oil in your mouth and swish or “pull” the oil around your teeth for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse with water and brush your teeth.
