7 Allies for Beautiful Skin

The water we drink, the air we breathe, the food we eat, the stress we live with, the environmental pollutants and our attitude toward life affect our Beauty. Here are your allies:

• SKIN CARE: only use fresh organic skin care products. Do not raise the toxic burden by applying toxic chemicals to your skin. (See our Collection)

WATER: Drink plenty of filtered water (as much as possible avoid plastic bottles, not only can they leach dangerous chemicals in the water, they also are an environment disaster). Your body needs water to conduct every biological function, don’t wait to be thirsty, if you do dehydration has already occurred. So try to drink water through out the day. You will need more water if you drink coffee and alcohol.

OXYGEN: Oxygen is one of the best skin boosters and it will lift your mood. Exercise, practice Yoga or simply take a walk in nature and practice deep breathing. As you walk try to focus on your senses, look at the beauty around you, listen to the birds, smell the scents and feel the touch of air on your skin.

FOOD: Organic plant based diet will supply your skin with a high concentration of antioxidants to slow down aging and encourage skin cell renewal. (Read more).

SLEEP: If you are tired it will show on your face. Try to follow a sleep rhythm and avoid eating just before going to bed. Listen to your body. If you are tired, chances are you need to rest!

RELAXATION: Try to find moments during the day to reconnect with yourself (see our skin regimen), as much as possible let your weekend be a time of relaxation (week-end ceremonial). Get a massage. Try to spend some time away from electronic devices (TV, cell phones computers, Ipods…). Have fun. Laughter is a powerful healer.

ATTITUDE: Nothing will make you look younger than child like enthusiasm, so find your Passion. Surround yourself with positive people. Read inspirational books. Be grateful.
